Beschreibung

Eponyms brings a short description of about 1800 common and obscure medical eponyms (e.g., Rovsing's sign, Virchow's node) to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. A perfect tool to quickly look up the meaning of any eponym.

It uses the beautiful eponym database from Andrew J. Yee (http://www.eponyms.net/).

## Learn Mode

The learn mode allows you to:

• swipe to the left to show a random eponym but not its title
• swipe to the right to show a random eponym title but not its text
• pull down to reveal the hidden info

Learn mode displays eponyms from the category you're currently visiting. This means you can either learn eponyms from a given category, only the ones that you've starred or simply all of them.

## Non-students:

This is the free student version. Please only download the free version while you (still) are a student. Look for the regular version if you're a professional now.

Really great

Can really recommend it - great for students/doctors. (am using it right now while studying for my final exams..)

gute App zum schnellen Nachschlagen

Die umfassende Datenbank erlaubt das schnelle Nachschlagen seltener Eponyme im Klinikalltag und läuft stabil auf iPhone und iPad. Regelmäßige Updates runden die ganze Sache ab. Ein geringer Obulus wäre gerechtfertigt, wobei ich mich über die Studentenversion freue. Ich wundere mich über die schwachen Bewertungen hier. Als Mediziner versteht man in der Regel doch so gut Englisch, dass es für eine kurze Definition reicht.

Klasse Programm - nicht nur für Studenten

Warum diese Einschränkung? Kein Mensch kann sich all diese Dinge merken. Also: laden und stöbern... Von mir volle Punktzahl. Besonders praktisch: die Suchfunktion
